1. Promotion period

The promotion opens on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, and closes at 11:59 pm New Zealand Daylight Time on Wednesday, 13 January 2027. Bookings must be made within this period to qualify.

2. Eligibility

Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older who make an eligible booking. The person making the booking must be the parent or legal guardian of any children participating in the prize flight, or have the appropriate consent from their parents or legal guardians.

Employees of Kiwi Floss and anyone directly involved in administering the promotion may be excluded from entry.

3. How to enter

To enter, participants must book a Kiwi Floss Birthday Party Hire through the official website at www.kiwifloss.co.nz during the promotional period.

Bookings made through social media messages, telephone calls, email or other channels will not qualify unless expressly confirmed by Kiwi Floss.

4. Payment and entry confirmation

Entry is confirmed only once the booking has been accepted by Kiwi Floss and full payment has been received.

Each eligible booking counts as one entry into the draw. Multiple eligible bookings may qualify as multiple entries, provided each booking is genuine, separately accepted and fully paid.

5. The prize

One winner will receive a flight experience valued at $400, consisting of a 30-minute flight around the local area departing from Feilding Aerodrome.

The prize is for a maximum of three passengers: one adult and two children. All passengers must meet the aircraft operator’s age, weight, health, safety and other applicable requirements.

The prize is subject to the availability of the participating pilot and aircraft, suitable weather conditions, and all applicable aviation safety requirements.

6. Prize arrangements

The flight date and time must be arranged directly with the participating pilot or aircraft operator and are subject to availability.

The flight may be postponed or rescheduled if weather, operational circumstances or safety considerations make flying unsuitable. The pilot or aircraft operator will make the final decision on whether the flight can proceed.

The winner must follow all instructions provided by the pilot or aircraft operator. If the winner or a passenger does not meet the operator’s requirements, an alternative arrangement may be necessary and cannot be guaranteed.

The prize is non-transferable unless agreed to by Kiwi Floss and the participating operator, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold or redeemed for another product or service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, transport to and from Feilding Aerodrome and any other personal expenses are the winner’s responsibility.

7. Winner selection and notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the promotion closes.

The draw will take place within seven days of the closing date. The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided with their booking.

If the winner cannot be contacted within seven days of the first notification, or does not respond within that period, Kiwi Floss reserves the right to redraw the prize.

The winner may be asked to provide reasonable evidence of identity, eligibility and consent for participating children before the prize is arranged.

8. Booking cancellations and refunds

If a customer cancels their booking, any refund will be handled in accordance with Kiwi Floss’s standard booking and cancellation policy and any applicable rights under New Zealand law. The promotional entry will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled and refunded in full.

If Kiwi Floss cancels a booking and provides a full refund because it cannot deliver the service due to unforeseen circumstances, the customer’s promotional entry will be retained, provided the original booking otherwise met the entry requirements.

If a booking is rescheduled rather than cancelled, the entry will remain valid as long as the booking remains confirmed and paid in full.

9. Prize availability and unforeseen circumstances

If the flight prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Kiwi Floss’s reasonable control, Kiwi Floss will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative prize of equal or similar value.

Kiwi Floss reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control or where required by law. Any changes will be communicated through Kiwi Floss’s official channels.

10. General conditions

The promotion is run by Kiwi Floss and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform.

The participating pilot or aircraft operator is responsible for determining whether the flight can safely proceed and for meeting applicable aviation requirements.

Kiwi Floss will handle personal information collected for the promotion in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy laws. The winner’s first name and general locality may be announced publicly, with consent where required.

Participation in this promotion does not affect any rights customers have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand laws.
